Hi,

We currently live in South Philadelphia and also have a 6 month old who happens to have Ds and a four year old. We are currently shopping around as well for school districts, we want to move out of the city. I have to tell you, the services in PA are wonderful and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is the best of the best. Please feel free to email me, SSaraAnne@aol.com. I would love to get to know more about your family since ours kids are the same age.

I'm not sure of your financial situation and that matters greatly in this area. consider school districts... King of Prussia, Bryn Need and Wayne/Paoli all have great inclusion strategies in their districts but the homes can be a little pricy. I did a 2 year search and researched about 20 districts in this area plus I have many friends with kiddos in various districts so I consider myself pretty knowledgeable plus I and a Parent Consultant for a non-profit which promotes full inclusion... Oh, and i have lived in this area my entire life so i know a loy. I have many resources and would be happy to talk with you anytime. Please feelfree to email me anytime at disgruntlement@gmail.com. good luck!

We had a wonderful experience at the Easter Seals of SEPA in Kulpsville (Lansdale). They have an integrated preschool as well as classes for kids with more needs. All therapists are in house too.

We had a great experience at KenCrest Developmental Center Artman in Ambler. It is a reverse mainstream program. Our son Benjamin is graduating this year and will be going to Kindergarten. The curriculum prepares your child for Kindergarten. At 3, Ben also had limited vocabulary. The teachers work with your child on communicating through sign language. I would be happy to talk to you about the program. My number is 484-716-9515.

My son Daniel is 13, Autistic PDD , we received a flyer from his school (Rosemary Kennedy in Wantagh) and we are very interested in your program. We had Dan assessed a few years ago for bike riding and was said that his balance was off, I feel a few years may have made a difference, Thank you for your time

We are in Hatboro Horsham SD.
My son is 7 and is in 1st grade. He is
included in the general ed. classroom with supports.
He is in Learning support for Guided Reading and Math for 30 minutes a day.
Our experience has been overall good so far. We had some initial hitches which were sorted out by both sides with lot
of discussions, training and patience!

If you need to talk or email directly you can call on 2154695887.

Hi, My son went to Kencrest in Rosemont. I loved the program but he is now 8 and his teacher at the time left the same year he did. Its worth checking out. It is a reverse inclusion program that was 60/40.
