Has anyone been denied coverage for speech therapy through your employee health insurance? We have blue cross blue shield/personal
choice and they denied Ava getting services at theraplay saying that they don’t expect Ava to show significant improvement with continued services.
Yes. A few years ago, Aetna told us that our daughter was not “fixable” and would not pay for continued services at Theraplay. We do not have Keystone Mercy because we live just over the Montco line in Berks.
