Our Next Meeting: Is July 20th 6:30-8:30 at
Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansdale. The topic will be
transitions. We hope to have speakers to explain each
transition that we face. Sort of a transition 101
including helpful hints for early intervention. We are
definitely new to the whole transition thing, so I want to get a
good mix of seasoned veteran parents as well as
advocates/professionals in the field. If you have any
thoughts or ideas
Email them to us.

Advice from a Mom on learning aids:
a.
Handwriting: Handwriting Without Tears
http://www.hwtears.com/. This is an awesome educational
assistance and can be requested in any public school or even for
homeschool in an IEP. You might have to go through the OT for
this aide. It starts with the basics print all the way to
cursive.
b.
Math: Also another thing that has helped with my

Vitamin Supplements in the news. A popular
supplement company that implies that it can cure genetic
ailments is facing the press and legal troubles. I heard a Wall
Street Journal article is in the works. Here is an article from
Texas about it:
Disputed claims boost popular supplements. NDSS put out a
memo earlier this year on their stance against supplements as
miracle cures.
