This is what we did in 2007:
Is July 20th 6:30-8:30 at
Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansdale. The topic will be
transitions. Our experienced parents will present Early Intervention,
3 year old, and school age transitions. This will be full of information
for parents and a call for our experienced familes to share with
the group.

Spring Fling - Pizza and hoagies in the church's gym.
There will be blowup balls and a puppet show. No need to fundraise,
just come to have a good time.

It's at Trinity
Lutheran Church. The easiest thing to do is to come in
from the back (Columbia Drive), park in the lot at the back
of the building to the right of the circle drive and enter
at the door closest to the gated playground. We will be in
the Gym, just follow the hall to the back and it is through
the double doors on the right.

- they will perform a show complete with dialog, songs and
dancing. Your child will be invited to participate. The show
will last about 45 mins. Be there by 7 to catch the show!

What: Trisomy 21 Awareness Eat Out
March 21st is a day when many families of children with
Trisomy 21 try to bring awareness to their community by doing
something fun with their child in public. The date is selected
because there are 3 copies of chromosome 21 or 3-21. We would
like to have a family night out during which any interested
group members would eat out with their own family at a local
restaurant.
When: The exact time will be determined soon.
Where: The Olive Garden in Montgomeryville. We won't
be able to all sit together, and we might not even be there
all at the same time. If you plan on coming, please
let us know and what time you plan on attending.

Information Meeting
What: Diann Collins and Jaclyn Bradley
will facilitate the workshop,
"Planning for the Future of Your Child or
Dependent with Special Needs"
When: Friday, January 19th from 6:30-8:30
pm at the Trinity Lutheran Church in
Lansdale.
Where: We will meet at Trinity
Lutheran Church. Our meeting room is in the
same hall as the nursery. The easiest thing to
do is to park at the back of the building to the
right of the circle drive and enter at the door
closest to the gated playground.

with the number of adults, children staying with
you, and children going to childcare.
We are also in need of childcare volunteers,
please let Rose
know if you know someone interested.
Please note this will be presented by a business
(MetLife®). Useful information will be presented
at no cost to MCDSIG or you. It will be up to
you if you want to share your personal information
with them or use them. The MCDSIG is not associated
